Lovely New Prize from Nuala Ní Chonchúir!

Now here is a prize close to my heart: I am delighted to announce this prize, which will be given to the first prize winner of the Glasgow Student Short Story Prize!

Irish writer Nuala Ní Chonchúir is the author of two short fiction collections and two poetry collections. Her third short story collection, Nude, will be published by Salt in September 2009.

Nuala also writes of one of my 'must read' blogs, 'Women Rule Writer':

Nuala is generously giving the winner of the prize all three of her short story collections, which will be signed sealed and delivered to the winner (along with a fantastic stash of goodies, including Waterstone's book vouchers, a signed copy of AL Kennedy's 'What Becomes' and tickets to AL Kennedy's comedy show Words!).

As well as receiving a signed copy of brand new release Nude in September , here are details of the other two collections the lucky winner will get:

Lovely books! Many, many many thanks to Nuala for helping the prize, and for her joyous encouragment and generous support to new short story writers.
