Slightly disturbing times...

There is not much blogging going on due to a really bad car accident a family member was in a couple of weeks ago. I'm planning to be getting back to thinking about writing and reading and blogging with more focus at some point, but probably not June, as I'm travelling too much. In the meantime, I have nipped back to Glasgow to collect my laptop, and find mouldy food, council tax demands, and - hooray something nice! - the proofs for 'In the Event of Fire' waiting for me. The layout looks lovely, nice clean typography, and text sort of right justified on the page (by which I mean there is a substantial white space to the left, like a margin), which is looks really smart, quite unusual. Finally, I also found a link to my blog from A L Kennedy calling iluvwords a 'slightly disturbing blog'. I aim to make the reader puke blood, but slightly disturbing people will satisfy me.

So, a pretty disturbing few weeks. Howcome every B&B I've stayed in over the past few weeks (3, but it feels like more...) makes life so much harder? Is it too much to ask for a room that doesn't come with free dirty 1970's print children's pajamas already inside the bed (how creepy is that? Kept me up all night thinking of the kid in The Shining). OK, Drive safely, and stay disturbed.
